T is for Tom

I spend a lot of time thinking about my brother Tom. I have learned a lot about life since he died.

But this is the T post. Tom:
Funny. Opinionated. Self-righteous. Smart. Tall. Ironic. Witty. Sarcastic. Verbal. Philosophical. Passionate. Idealistic. Proud. Driven. Self-aware (finally). Intense. Judgmental. Educated. Curious. Active. Competitive. Spiritual. Religious. Aware. Intuitive. Protective.

The last time I saw him he gave me a hug in a way that I will never forget. He put one hand in the middle of my back and with the other he cradled the back of my head and pulled it into his chest. I believe he was saying goodbye without really knowing it.
