J is for Juncture

Didn't one of our past presidents constantly say, "At this juncture..." I think perhaps it was Bush Sr. When you start a sentence with that phrase, the implication is something significant is happening, or a decision has to be made. There is some convergence of events in which is important to make the right choice. I hit "junctures" every day. The convergence is this: I have something I would like to do or complete, and someone else (usually a client) says, "I need you to do this, NOW!" And I have a choice to make. Go to yoga, write some copy. Go to yoga, find images for the designer. Go to yoga, get on a conference call. At all of those junctures I chose that later and now I find myself at another juncture accept the expanding waist or go to yoga. Tomorrow I'll go to yoga.
