Spreading Peace

I got an email from Mary, the Peace Corp volunteer, and she has published a post on her blog, shedalittlelightmo.blogspot.com. I feel much better having heard from her. When I paused this past week to consider her in Senegal, Africa, I teared up and felt as though I couldn't breathe. Not quite a panic attack but on the edge of it. That reaction has diminished, my fear, anxiety, and selfish desire for her to be here near me has abated.

I do love the fact that Mary is spreading peace and good will. I believe I can participate in that endeavor by sending warm and loving thoughts to her and to all the people she will meet and greet every day. It's a blessing to be connected to her desire to help others.

I am breathing easier and I am grateful for that. Keep Mary and the good people she is working with and for in your hearts and minds and you too will spread the peace.
